Dr. B completed her chiropractic education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2020. She decided she wanted to work hands-on with patients while completing her Master’s degree in Anthropology. She interviewed patients with chronic illnesses to learn how they navigated health, illness, and the healthcare system. She brings her passion for sharing through storytelling to her everyday work as a chiropractor.
Dr. B is especially passionate about treating the pelvis in all stages of life! She has completed multiple continuing education programs to ensure she helps her pregnant and postpartum patients achieve their goals in the safest, most effective ways possible.
Dr. B also loves working with the youth of her community. She worked with young athletes of all abilities and skill levels throughout her chiropractic education, and completed an extracurricular placement in a Toronto school providing manual therapy and rehabilitation to children with complex disabilities.
Isabel is a chiropractic student currently completing her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Under the supervision of Dr. Burns, she provides thoughtful chiropractic care rooted in empathy, connection, and collaboration. As an intern, Isabel is committed to continual learning and growth, with the goal of supporting patients in Bruce County by making care feel accessible, comfortable, and personal.
She has worked with a wide range of patients, including individuals managing chronic pain to return to their regular activities, sports enthusiasts recovering from strains, busy parents balancing multiple responsibilities, and those spending long hours at a desk managing stiffness and discomfort. These experiences have helped her understand how different lifestyles place unique demands on the body, and how care needs to be adaptable, realistic, and tailored to the individual. Isabel is eager and committed to treating a wide variety of patients, from office workers to athletes to grandparents, and is dedicated to learning as much as possible as an intern while making meaningful connections in her new community.
Along the way, Isabel fell in love with small-town living and the sense of connection it brings. She values the relationships that form when health care is personal and familiar, and she is deeply motivated by the opportunity to help bridge gaps in access to care often felt in smaller or underserved communities. For her, being a healthcare provider means showing up consistently, building trust over time, and making care feel approachable rather than overwhelming.
In the clinic, Isabel focuses on helping people move with more comfort and confidence through individualized chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, and simple movement strategies that fit into everyday life. She also provides practical wellness advice, including tips on posture, nutrition, fitness, and ergonomics, empowering patients to take an active role in their own health. Isabel places a strong emphasis on clear, empathetic, honest communication, taking the time to explain what’s happening in the body and why certain approaches are recommended, creating a supportive environment that feels both reassuring and empowering. Her goal is to help patients not only manage pain but also build long-term habits that support overall wellbeing and prevent future discomfort.
Outside of the clinic, Isabel is motivated, friendly, and always up for trying something new. Outside of work, she loves dancing, singing, reading, playing sports, and spending time with friends— whether that’s board games, video games, or a movie night with good food. A former competitive swimmer, lifeguard, and swim instructor, she still loves being in the water and soaking up warm beach days, ideally with a picnic, ice cream, good music, and an iced coffee in hand.
